We started our company over ten years ago with the aim of improving the steam methane reforming (SMR) process for the production of hydrogen. This year, in collaboration with Honeywell UOP, we are introducing to the market our ZF Reactor™, a structured catalyst that brings unprecedented efficiencies to making hydrogen from fossil fuels by steam reforming.

Along the way, it became apparent that new technology was also needed to address the carbon dioxide emissions from the SMR process. We re-envisioned the SMR process to do just that: our ZH Process Technology™ efficiently captures 95% – 97% of the CO byproduct of the SMR process, making it available, at a lower cost than any other approach, for use or sequestration.

We aren’t resting on our laurels. Exciting new technologies for recuperative reforming and the incorporation of renewable electric energy into the SMR process will soon be ready for demonstration in our world-class pilot plant.

You will find more information about these developments elsewhere on this site. Please don’t hesitate to contact us for more information.
